PURPOSE:To enable improving sealing properties of an apparatus while simplifying its structure by fixing an end plate at a yoke opening for insertion of a motor shaft and by forming an O-ring groove from said yoke and said end plate. CONSTITUTION:The sealing performance of an apparatus can be improved, because the fixed parts of an end plate 6 and a yoke 3 are sealed by an O-ring 41. To retain said O-ring 41, a concentric notch 36 is formed in a brush holder 25 and an Oring groove is formed by said notch 36 and end plate 6 so that it is unnecessary to increase parts for newly forming said O-ring groove in a connecting part. Also, because said notch 36 can be formed simultaneously with resin molding of the brush holder 25, it is unnecessary to increase the man-hour of processing of said O-ring groove. Further, the O-ring groove may be formed by the notch 36 and the yoke 3. In such a case, said brush holder 25 may be fixed at the yoke 3.
