<p>A measuring instrument with transmitter according to this invention comprises a measuring unit, a data processor, a transmitter and a housing. The measuring unit converts measured data into digital values to produce output. The measured data obtained by the measuring unit are supplied to the data processor which, in turn, produces a transmission data sequence in a predetermined format. The transmitter transmits by radio the transmission data sequence received from the data processor. The transmitter, together with the data processor, is contained in the housing that is mounted near the operation unit of the measuring instrument, and the antenna output terminal of the transmitter is connected to the housing or to a conductor near the housing.</p> |
