The lamp socket according to the invention is intended for the internal illumination of electrical apparatuses, especially microwave ovens. In the case of such apparatuses, radio-frequency radiation occurs which is hazardous to the user if it escapes to the outside. Such an escape of radiation via the connecting lead to the socket is intended to be prevented by screening the leads, which screen is fixed to the socket support by means of a plug attachment.
