Side/bottom hung door with side/bottom hanging fitting and a seal, which can be raised on opening, of the door foot with respect to a threshold profile which is arranged on the outer side and belongs to the frame, said threshold profile not projecting beyond the height of the threshold, or projecting beyond it only slightly, and exhibiting a channel-like opening for the engagement of a sealing profile which is mounted, such that it can be raised and lowered to beyond the height of the threshold profile, in a guide profile, fastened at the foot of the door leaf, and is connected to the side/bottom hanging fitting of the door leaf such that the opening movement thereof causes the sealing element to be raised and the closure element thereof causes the sealing element to be lowered.
