PURPOSE:To avoid the generation of counter torque, by using the DC power source of high tension according to output torque and a rotational speed, and by conducting current at the conduction angle of 90 degrees for exciting each phase. CONSTITUTION:So far as a two-phase reluctance motor is concerned, the width of the salient pole 1a... of a rotor 1 is 180 degrees, and the respective salient poles are arranged at an equal pitch with the phase difference of 360 degrees, and the width of the magnetic poles 3a-6a of a stationary armature 2 is 180 degrees and the poles are arranged at an equal pitch. A magnet ring 14 set coaxially with the rotor 1 and rotating synchronously is magnetized by means of magnetic poles N, S, and the hole elements 14a, 14b confronted with the ring 14 are fixed on said stationary armature 2. Besides, exciting coils 3c-6d are fitted on the respective magnetic poles 3a-6b, and with position detection signal or the like, from a conductive current controlling circuit, current is conducted to the exciting coils 3c-6d of said each phase. As a result, even if power-supply voltage is heightened and a rotational speed is increased, the width of exciting current is not to exceed 180 degrees. |
