<p>A sheet-like electrode consisting of active material (1) comprising a polymer and a collector (2) that has a plurality of through holes (3), a method of producing the same, and a secondary cell wherein said electrode is used as a positive electrode. A plurality of through holes are formed in the sheet-like collector, whereby the contact area increases between the collector and the active material contributing to an improvement in the intimacy therebetween. The layer of the active material is formed by the electrolytic polymerization of an aniline compound on both surfaces of the collector (aluminum) in the presence of sulfuric acid or sulfonic acids. In the secondary cell in which the sheet-like electrode serves as the positive electrode, the positive electrode and the negative electrode are alternatingly folded via a separator, and both electrode terminals of the collector are located at the opposing terminals of the positive electrode and the negative electrode.</p> |
