The invention relates to a device for washing a cylinder of a printing machine by means of a washing cloth which is unwound from a supply roll and is to be brought into contact, by means of a pressing-on mechanism, with the cylinder to be washed. The invention is based on the object of providing a device for washing a cylinder of a printing machine, which device has small dimensions due to an advantageous and compact arrangement of the construction elements and can be built into the construction space available in small-size printing machines. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the supply roll and the winding roll are mounted with an adjusting device in a washing segment which is arranged so as to be rotatable and pivotable.
