PURPOSE:To enable an emergency communication from a location other than the place of telephone installation by constituting the titled telephone so that the call is automatically connected to the emergency call destination identified by a dual code preliminarily set in the telephone set only by depressing a button provided to a portable radio equipment. CONSTITUTION:The portable radio equipment 3 that transmits a start signal by a prescribed radio wave when its emergency call button is operated, is provided, also, the telephone set 1 which transmits a call signal to a subscriber's line to be connected to an exchange at a time of receiving the start signal by the prescribed radio wave then automatically transmits an emergency communication destination dial code is provided. As a result, in case of some accident is occurred and a person can not move or can not reach the place of the telephone set to ask for a help, a quick countermeasure can be made only by depressing the button at the site only if the person is carrying the portable radio equipment.
