摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently prepare a composite material containing homogeneously and firmly immobilized fine gold particles by a simple method, by dripping an aqueous solution of a gold compound into an aqueous solution containing a metallic oxide at a specific pH and heating the metallic oxide at a given temperature. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing a metallic oxide as a carrier is initially adjusted to pH 7-11 and an aqueous solution of a gold compound is then dripped into the above-mentioned aqueous solution while stirring to adhere gold hydroxide on the metallic oxide. The resultant metallic oxide is subsequently heated at 100-800 deg.C to deposit and immobilize fine gold particles on the metallic oxide surface. For example, MnO2, Fe2O3, Co3O4, NiO, CuO, CuMnO2, Co-Mn compound oxide, Al2O3, SiO2 or V2O3, can be used as the metallic oxide. Chloroplatinic acid (HAuCl4), sodium chloroplatinate (NaAuCl4), gold cyanide (AuCN), etc., are cited as the gold compound.
