PURPOSE:To connect different kinds of rod, wire, ribbon, etc., of superconducting ceramics with each other keeping superconducting state, by bonding the ceramic materials using a material produced by mixing a 3rd superconducting ceramic powder or its starting material with a paste. CONSTITUTION:Superconducting materials are connected with each other by the following method. The 1st superconducting ceramic is made to contact with the 2nd superconducting ceramic keeping superconducting state. Powder or starting material of the 3rd superconducting ceramic is mixed with a paste and the mixture is used as a connecting material between the 1st and the 2nd materials in order to connect the 1st and the 2nd materials keeping superconducting state. The contacting part is heated and calcined to complete the connecting operation. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd ceramics are those expressed by formula 1 (x is 0-1; y is 2.0-4.0; z is 1.0-4.0; w is 4.0-10.0; A is one or more elements of group IIIa of periodic table; B is one or more elements of group IIa of periodic table). |
