<p>PURPOSE:To perform high quality printing at high speed, by selecting each light emitting diode element in response to the printing data signal from a printing data signal generating source and driving each light emitting diode array only for the light emitting driving time stored in a correction circuit to emit light. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal C11 is applied to the line 37 of an integrated circuit 22 and a printing data signal d11 is applied to a line 39 corresponding thereto. By this method, the printing data of light emitting diode elements 1p1-1p64 corresponding to the first strobe signal are stored in a 64-bit shift register 38. A latch signal is given to a line 41 to transmit the content of the shift register 38 to a 64-bit latch circuit 40. Herein, a strobe signal lasting only for a lasting time W1 is given to a line 42. By this method, the light emitting diode elements 1p1-1p64 corresponding to the printing data for an array A1 stored in a register 43 is selectively driven only for the time W1 to emit light.</p> |
