PURPOSE:To realize an unmanned cleaning job by adding a roller to an unmanned carrier which runs with reception of the reflected light received from a guide tape set on a carrier path and running the carrier with a contact secured with a guide roller right before reception of the reflected light. CONSTITUTION:An unmanned carrier 10 receives the reflected light L from a guide tape 2 set on a carrier path 1 and runs on the path 1 along the tape 2. At the same time, the rollers 15 wound round the adhesive tapes 16 through the outer circumferential surfaces of the rollers 15 are attached at the positions before and after a receiving part of the light L via the solenoids 13 and a plunger 14. When the carrier 10 runs, the rollers 15 are driven by the solenoids 13 with contacts secured with the tape 2 by the prescribed pressure. Thus the soil on the tape 2 is stuck onto the tapes 16 and cleared away. In such a way, no malfunction occurs since the surface of the tape 2 is always cleaned right before reception of the light L from the tape 2.
