PURPOSE:To accurately measure engagement strength without any slide by using a simple jig constituted by providing control plates perpendicular to plate surfaces to both flanks of the lower part of a substrate and providing a backward-directional pressure plate perpendicular to the plate surface to the lower end side. CONSTITUTION:The engagement part 1 of the fastener (b) of a testpiece (a) is adhered and fixed so that it is at the position of the lower-end side 4 of the board A of the jig G. Then the tension piece 2 of a female piece (c) on the other side is drawn to the opposite side from the surface of the board A in the same plane. At this time, the engagement part 1 abuts on the control plate C and a joint part piece 8 abuts on the pressure plate B for the engagement part 1. In this state, when the tip of the tension piece 2 is drawn associatively with a tension test measuring instrument, the female-side piece (c) is extracted from a male-side piece (d) without sliding on the engagement part 1 when tension strength exceeds a certain value.
