<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an operator to input a cutting size by confirming the state of a picture signal and discriminating whether roll sheets are cut in either a fixed width size or a fixed length size. CONSTITUTION:The roll sheets 31 and 33 are cut in the fixed width size or the fixed length size by means of a cutter 41 in accordance with a cutting signal. Based on a timer means and the picture signal showing picture length determined by the length of an original in a picture scanning direction and by a selected copying magnification, a discrimination means automatically discriminates how the roll sheets 31 and 33 are to be cut, i.e., whether in the fixed length or width size. Thus the operator need not input the length cut.</p> |
