发明名称 DRIVING METHOD FOR ACTIVE MATRIX SUBSTRATE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the rise of a driving voltage, and shading by allowing a driving pulse supplied to a scanning electrode to contain >=2 frequency components, and executing the driving so as to decrease an unnecessary negative bias between a gate electrode and a drain electrode. CONSTITUTION:A gate driving pulse supplied to a gate electrode 3 is a mixture of two pulses whose frequencies are different. As for the voltage of a drain electrode 5, since the height of a pulse applied to the gate electrode 3 is different between each field, the voltage drop due to capacity coupling caused by the parasitic capacity between the gate electrode 3 and the drain electrode 5 is different between the fields, and the bias between the gate and the drain in this case can nearly eliminate a difference between the fields. In such a case, by putting in order to the field whose negative bias is small, a threshold level voltage shift by the negative bias can be suppressed to the minimum. In such a way, the rise of a liquid crystal driving voltage, and shading can be prevented.
