PURPOSE:To obtain a photographic base generating no fog, spot, nor frilling during development by forming an adhesive layer comprising a specified copolymerizable compsn. on the surface of a metal capable of causing specular reflection or diffuse reflection of the second kind. CONSTITUTION:A copolymerizable compsn. consisting of diolefin, another polymerizable ethylenic unsatd. monomer and/or a monomer having at least one COOH group or PO3H group is incorporated into an adhesive layer. In this case, a copolymer compsn. contg. at least a kind of compd. expressed by formulas I and II is(are) used pref. for the adhesive layer singly or in the form of comonomer. In formulas I and II, A is an n-valent org. residue; n is an integer 2-10; R1 is H atom, (un)substituted alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkenyl. By this constitution, a photographic base generating no fog, nor spot during development, causing no defect such as frilling during drying after development, is provided. |
