PURPOSE:To form a light spot having no aberration on an optical disk, by using a plane formed by plural rotating bodies provided no an optical table as a reference plane when the optical axis of emissive light is adjusted and also as a reference plane when the mechanism of an optical head is mounted. CONSTITUTION:Adjustment is made so that the light of a semiconductor laser 1 can be projected perpendicularly upon the plane C formed by three rotating bodies 10a, 10b, and 10c after it is reflected by a mirror 2. The light is made into a converged luminous flux after passing through an object lens 4 and forms a light spot through a plane board 6 which is provided in parallel with the plane C by means of a parallel member 16 in the converged luminous flux. The aberration of the light spot is adjusted by means of an object lens driving device 5. Moreover, an optical head 14 is held in a rotating state without moving in the vertical direction of an optical disk 11 from the reference plane which is the plane C formed by the rotating bodies 10a-10c against two guide bars 13a and 13b arranged in parallel with a flange 12.
