PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a movable section by collision with an external equipment, by providing a protecting means which release the impact force from the outside on the movable section composed of an objective lens, focus driving coil, and track direction driving coil. CONSTITUTION:When an optical head main body 12 mounting an objective lens driving device 20 runs away due to a driving source 15 in a magnetic circuit 14 and the objective lens driving device 20 collides against an external equipment, such as a disk driving spindle motor, etc., provided closely to the main body 12, the impact force is absorbed by means of the impact preventing shock absorbing members 21 stuck to the tops and sides of yokes 5a and 5b and magnets 6a and 6b which directly receive the impact force of the external equipment when the objective lens driving device 20 collides with the external equipment. Therefore, the break down of the movable section can be prevented.
