PURPOSE:To smoothly open and close a valve body by inclining the wall surface on the downstream side of the port of a valve body in the same direction to a jet angle. CONSTITUTION:The wall surface 15 on the downstream side of the port 13 of the valve body 12 of a plate valve is inclined in the same direction to a jet angle. Therefore, the fluid force acting onto the valve body 12 can be reduced drastically, and the valve body 12 can be always opened/closed smoothly.
