OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD FOR SOLAR BATTERY |

PURPOSE:To get the electric energy with high efficiency by using a compact solar battery and measuring the short-circuit current of said solar battery to control the output current of a solar battery to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:The optical energy of the sum 1 is simultaneously made incident on a primary solar battery 2 and another solar battery 5 serving as a control sensor. A small resistance 6 is connected to the battery 5 for measurement of its short-circuit and the terminal voltage of the resistance 6 is supplied to a control circuit 7. The circuit 7 controls the resistance of a heat generating resistor 3 put into a water tank 4 by means of the relationship between the short-circuit current of the battery 5 and the current that ensures the maximum output of the battery 2. Thus such a current level is secured so that the maximum output is obtained from the battery 2. In such a way, the output is effectively taken out of the battery 2 and the water temperature of the tank 4 is quickly increased.
