PURPOSE:To perform uniform and highly accurate description generating no coating irregularity and to prevent the damage of a nozzle tip, by providing a protective body, which surrounds the nozzle tip so as to exceed the end of the nozzle tip, to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 5 wherein a marker 14 is mounted to a protective jig 15 is grasped and a switch is turned ON to apply not only positive potential to a coating agent but also negative potential to a working table 4 and negative potential is similarly applied to the object W to be coated on the working table 4. The coating agent to which positive potential is applied is atomized by allowing a nozzle tip 2 to approach the object W to be coated to be applied to the object 4 to be coated. Herein, since a protective body 9 surrounding the nozzle tip 2 so as to exceed the tip thereof is provided around the nozzle tip 2, the nozzle tip 2 is protected from damage and a gap is interposed between the nozzle tip 2 and the object W to be coated to make it possible to perform uniform coating having no irregularity.
