<p>Wire discharge machining control appts. includes - a 1st memory storing electrical conditions for machining corners of different angles, - a 2nd memory storing electrical conditions for different arc radii, - a corner angle calculation circuit, -a unit which judges when corner machining is to be done, - a unit which calculates arc radii in response to commands from an NC unit, -and a control unit which when corner or arc machining is effected reads the 1st and 2nd memory contents and changes electrical conditions from those of linear machining, e.g., by opening and closing power supply relay contacts (Ra, Rb) and controlling the duty ratio of a pulse oscillator so as to establish optimum capacitor charging and discharge times read out from a memory in correspondence to calculated arcs and corners.</p> |
