<p>PURPOSE:To cope with paper jamming, by stopping the feed of photosensitive material, simultaneously with occurrence of a preceding photosensitive material, and by cutting a photosensitive material on exposure with the use of a photosensitive material cutting means so that thus cut pieces are removed outside of a conveying path. CONSTITUTION:When paper jamming is detected downstream of a cutter unit 20, conveyance in all parts in an image recording device is stopped. Further, if a photosensitive material S on exposure is not yet cut into a piece having a predetermined length, the cutter unit 20 is operated simultaneously with the stop of the conveyance, the photosensitive material is cut regardless of the predetermined length. Then, a nip roll 12 arranged downstream of the cutter unit 20 is manually reversed to extract the photosensitive material S whose exposure has been interrupted, and then the material S is led into between the cutter unit 20 and the nip roll 12, and is thereafter discarded after a cover 16 is opened.</p> |
