摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the difference of thermal expansion between a header end plate and a reinforcing member and prevent the deformation of the header end plate by a method wherein a thermal insulation layer is arranged on an inner surface of the header end plate. CONSTITUTION:A primary fluid inlet header 22 and a primary fluid outlet header 44 are connected with a tube 33 for performing heat exchanging operation. End plate surfaces of the primary fluid inlet header 11 and the primary fluid outlet header 44 are provided with reinforcing members 66 for preventing vibration and corrosion, and a thermal insulation layer 77 is arranged on the inner surfaces of both headers. This thermal insulation layer is made of material having a lower thermal conductivity than that of the header material for example, ceramics. With such an arrangement as above, since the heat of the primary fluid is hard to be transmitted to the header end plates and the reinforcing member to be connected to the header end plates, an increase in temperature of the header end plates and the reinforcing members is restricted. The relative difference in temperature between the header end plate and the reinforcing members is reduced and a difference in thermal expansion of both members is also decreased, so that a deformation of the header end plates caused by a thermal stress is restricted.
