PURPOSE:To replace fresh raw materials or raw materials for color changing efficiently in a short period of time, by a method wherein a vent hole is opened on the circumference of a heating cylinder facing to a part where a groove of a rotary screw is deepened, and an auxiliary raw material supply device supplying raw materials to the part where the groove has been deepened is provided attachably and detachably on the above vent hole. CONSTITUTION:Resin raw materials within a hopper 10 are transferred to an extrusion port 3 while flowing down of a fixed quantity of the same within a heating cylinder 4 is being performed due to transfer action of a rotary screw 5, and the same is deaerated at a second vent hole 8 while heating and melting through a band heater 9. Then at the time when the resin raw materials pass through a kneading part 5a of the raw materials of the rotary screw 5, a plunger 13 is slided in a descending direction by actuating an auxiliary raw material supply device 7. The resin raw materials within a cylinder 14 is supplied to the raw material kneading part 5a in the inside of the heating cylinder 4 through a first vent hole 6 by a sufficient quantity to raise the pressure and the resin raw materials are caused to flow reliably down to the deep part of the groove of the raw material kneading part 5a. With this constitution, the old resin raw materials remaining within the deep part of the groove of the raw material kneading part 5a may be discharged forcibly through the extrusion port 3 of the heating cylinder 4. |
