PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a laser beam machining head capable of reducing the spherical aberration by allowing a laser beam to transmit through plural lenses to condense it and performing the laser beam machining. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam 1 is condensed by the two lenses and made to the remarkably high optical intense density on a work 4 through a nozzle 6 to perform the cutting and welding of the work 4. Moreover, gas such as oxygen and nitrogen, etc., is introduced from an introduction port 7 on the work 4 and blown against the work 4 through the nozzle 6 according to an object to be machined such as cutting, welding etc. By this method, the laser beam machining head with the little spherical aberration of a lens system and hardly influenced on the lens by the pressure by the machining gas is obtained. |
