Apparatus for generating and radiating ultrasound, in particular for ultrasound therapy, with an ultrasound head, which comprises an ultrasound resonator, and with an electrical signal generator for charging the ultrasound resonator of the ultrasound head with electrical signals in the sense that the electrical signals are converted into ultrasound to be radiated, and with an adaptation device for adapting an employed ultrasound head to the electrical signal generator, characterized in that the adaptation device (8 to 12, 15) comprises an adaptation part (15) which can be exchanged easily, which is formed by a plug-in IC-socket and which is suitably associated with an ultrasound resonator (13), likewise capable of being exchanged easily, and which can be inserted into the ultrasound head (2) so that it can be exchanged, when the ultrasound resonator is exchanged. |
