<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate any projection of a tape running path from the front face of a video cassette so as to miniaturize a VTR, by causing the guide section of a tape guide to advance into the sleeve section of the video cassette when a tape is loaded. CONSTITUTION:This tape guide is provided with tape guide moving mechanisms 42, 44, and 46 provided in the vicinity of the sleeve section 28A of a video cassette 28 housed in a video tape recorder and a guide section 42C which guides a tape 30 moved by means of the mechanisms 42, 44, and 46 when the tape 30 in the cassette 28 is loaded on or unloaded from a rotary head drum 26. At the time of tape loading, the guide section 42C is caused to advance into the sleeve section 28A and, at the time of tape unloading, the guide section 28A is retreated from the sleeve section 28A. Therefore, the tape guide in the vicinity of the tape entrance and exit of the video cassette does not project from the front face of the cassette main body and the VTR can be miniaturized.</p> |
