<p>PURPOSE:To utilize a space, where a storage device is situated, as a shifting space for a guide plate as well as to aim at the miniaturization of a device by supporting the guide plate so as to make it shiftable up to a position where the storage device is situated. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet S is jammed, an operator pulls a cassette 3 toward himself from a device body 2, then a guide plate 27 is turned round to a position where the cassette 3 is situated counterclockwise against spring force of a spring 30, and the jammed sheet S is removed therefrom. And, the guide plate 27 is turned round clockwise by the spring force of the spring 30, putting it back to the specified position. In addition, the cassette 3 is attached to the device body 2 and thus jam handling is over. And, for jam recovery, the sheet S whose one side is printed is conveyed to a refeeding route 19, and it is further conveyed to a refeeding roller pair 25 by each pair of feed rollers 20, 21 and 22, 23.</p> |
