PURPOSE:To determine a complex elastic modulus of an unknown component, by a method wherein a compound component sample laminated section-wise in vertical symmetry across the thickness thereof is measured as intact to determine an unknown component sample as intact. CONSTITUTION:A sinusoidal force of bending (deflection) is applied to a compound component sample 11 formed in a center beam with both ends thereof fixed and deformation caused is observed as displacement of a vibrator 13 to detect an amplitude ratio and a phase difference between the sinusoidal force and displacement. A measuring data input section 2 is connected to a detector section 1 to take an amplitude ratio data and a phase difference data. A value of a complex elastic modulus is inputted into a conditions data input section 4 as for (n-1) components with a known elastic modulus among those of a sample together with (n) constants (t1-tn) which indicate the length (l), width (w) and a thickness distribution of components of a n-component stuck sample laminated in vertical symmetry across the thickness thereof. A computing section 3 determines a complex elastic modulus of an unknown component by computation processing of the input data to be outputted to a data output section 5.
