PURPOSE:To obtain a long-scaled linear oxide superconductor by filling a metallic pipe with an oxide superconductive material and providing a reduced-area process. CONSTITUTION:The formation of a long-scaled wire is performed by filling a Cu pipe 2' s metallic carrier with oxide group superconductor powder 1 and providing a reduced-area process. Powder of La2O3, SrCO3, CuO is mixed and sintered to be used as the oxide powder. Namely, when the metallic pipe 2 is filled with the superconductive material 1 in a not lumpy but powdery state of pre- or post-reaction, the inner superconductive material is distributed serially and uniformly during the reduced-area process. When more sufficient reduced- area Process is provided, the inner powder 1 is processed to be highly dense and so its electrical conductivity is improved. A wire of the superconductor distributed serially in a thin metallic extension line can be manufactured accordingly.
