<p>PURPOSE:To realize a time synchronizing system of high reliability with use of plural information processors by using an auxiliary clock pulse to back up a time synchronizing device even in case this device has a fault. CONSTITUTION:When a time synchronizing device 2 has a fault and an auxiliary clock pulse 21 and another valid signal 23 are received, an auxiliary timer register 15 performs a clock-up action based on the time data 27 fetched from a timer buffer 12 and with use of the pulse 21 of 1MHz as an input. When an information processing part 50 reads out a timer, the time data 34 including a year, a month, a day, hours, minutes, seconds and microseconds is outputted to the part 50 of a requester in a system exactly equal to that secured when the device 2 is normally working. Thus the accurate coincidence is secured down to a second or less for the tie information among plural information processors.</p> |
