PURPOSE:To accurately detect acceleration caused by vibration, by controlling amplitude of a high frequency from an oscillation circuit with the feedback of a vibration frequency to lower a gain due to resonance. CONSTITUTION:When a horizontal vibration is applied to a sensor 10, a steel ball 12 reciprocates finely centered on a reference position. At this point, amplitude of a differential output changes according to variations in acceleration of the vibration. The differential output is rectified while being detected with a detection circuit 21 and a high frequency component is cut off to obtain a detection output. The detection output which contains a wave corresponding to the acceleration of the vibration is amplified 22 and sent to a detection output terminal 24 via an impedance conversion circuit 23. Vibration frequency of the detection output is detected with a frequency detection circuit 25, an output of which is fed back to an amplitude control circuit thereby enabling the lowering of a gain generated in the amplitude of the detection output due to resonance.
