PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for dialing operation to a caller terminal equipment by providing a means applying automatic dialing to a caller terminal equipment based on a received telephone number of the caller terminal equipment in applying remote control to an automatic answering telephone set. CONSTITUTION:Message information and caller terminal telephone number received from an automatic answering telephone set based on the remote control are outputted from a receiver 9 as voice by the control of a message information output section 121 of a control section 12 and a telephone number is stored to a telephone number storage section 122. Then the user listens to the message information and discriminates the necessity of a call to the caller terminal equipments, then the user applies a corresponding input operation from an input section 14. Thus, the control section 12 disconnects a line to the automatic answering telephone set and dials the caller terminal equipment automatically based on the telephone number stored in the storage section 122 by the control of the automatic dial control section 123.
