MONITOR DEVICE FOR ABNORMALITY OF PLANT

PURPOSE:To attain application of a monitor device to the balance monitor of plant signals even in such a case where the coefficient of a linear approximation formula is varied with the past influence of a monitor signal, by estimating the coefficient of the linear approximation formula from a mathematical model for the balance monitor of the plant signals. CONSTITUTION:The relation between two signals obtained from a plant is approximated by a linear formula for monitor of the balance between said signals. Thus, the plant abnormality is monitored. Then, a function is provided to show the change of the linear formula due to the influence of the past monitor signals. The balance diagnosis is carried out with use of a variable coefficient that is calculated from an identified mathematical model. Thus, it is possible to apply the balance monitor even with such a monitor signal with which the coefficient of a linear approximation formula has a big change due to the influence of the past monitor signals.
