<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a lowering of efficiency, by adding a water-insoluble water absorbable polymer gel particle containing a specific acrylic cationic monomer to waste water. CONSTITUTION:A water-insoluble water absorbable polymer gel particle obtained by polymerizing an acrylic cationic monomer is added to org. waste water. The polymer gel particle is obtained by reacting a crosslinkable polymer having an acrylic water-soluble cationic monomer unit such as dialkylaminoalkyl(meth) acrylate with a polyfunctional compound (e.g., epichlorohydrin or diglycidyl amine) to crosslink and bond both of them. By this gel particle, microbes are adsorbed by the surface of the cationic gel to form a high concn. microbial layer and treatment efficiency can be always kept high.</p> |
