PURPOSE:To shorten the cycle time of recording medium loading processes and completely automate a series of forming operations, by performing stepwise a series of forming operations which pull out flexible belt-like recording media from reels and form the media to have prescribed loop-like shapes whenever the reels stop at each station. CONSTITUTION:Plural assembling bodies 5 supplied continuously are successively carried in such a way that they are stopped at plural stations 200A-200F and, synchronously to the stoppage, a series of forming operations are stepwise performed on the assembling bodies 5 at each station 200A-200F in a divided state. This loop forming means 200 is provided with plural holding sections 204 which are capable of holding the assembling bodies 5 and intermittently driving means 201 which circularly move the holding sections 204 by once stopping them at the plural stations 200A-200F simultaneously. Therefore, the cycle time of the process for loading a flexible belt-like recording medium 4 in its case can be made shorter and a series of forming operations from pulling out a medium from a reel to forming the medium to a loop in the process can be automated completely. |
