PURPOSE:To make a good electric conduction metal surface of wounding clad material to be flat and flawless by winding the clad material pressure-welded a narrow width metal stripe of good electric condition on its one surface of both surfaces of alloy strip material while inserting a composite laminated paper having an prescribed thickness range. CONSTITUTION:The narrow width metallic stripe 3 excellent in the electric conduction is pressure-welded by pressure-welding rolls 5 on one surface of the alloy strip parent material 2 whose surface is cleaned by a wire brush 4, to make the clad material 1. When this clad material 1 is wound on a winding bobbin, the winding is performed while inserting the composite laminated paper 9 having at least a width wider than the good electric conduction metallic stripe 3, and a thickness thinner than the clad material 1 and about >=0.2mm thickness. This composite laminated paper 9 is composed of a high molecular film and paper having a structure of two layers or three layers. The surface of the inserted paper is not transcribed on the surface of the good electric conduction metallic stripe 2 and the surface flaw caused by a slide at winding is not generated. Further, as to the case of the clad material pressure-welded on both surfaces, the above-mentioned method is operated similarly.
