PURPOSE:To construct a foundation having great bearing forces by a method in which a baggy part to cover through holes in side walls is provided for a hollow columnar pile, and cement mortar is injected into the pile by pressure for filling. CONSTITUTION:A number of through holes 16 and baggy parts 18 covering the holes 16 are provided for the side wall of a hollow columnar pile 14 having a coned tip 12. Both upper and lower ends of the part 18 are clamped with bands 20. A friction pile is driven into the ground 28 and cement mortar 24 is poured into the pile 14 by pressure to produce a great frictional force between it and the ground. The pile foundation having great bearing forces can thus be constructed.
