NOVEL MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AGAINST SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER ANTIGEN AND MOUSE-HYBRIDOMA PRODUCING THE ABOVE-MENTIONED ANTIBODY

PURPOSE:To produce TFS-5 antibody or TFS-6 antibody, by immunizing a purified small cell lung cancer associated antigen to Balb/c mouse, preparing hybridoma and screening the hybridoma with dot blot. CONSTITUTION:NP-40 is added to a homogenized human cerebrum and antigen is solubilized and purified by precipitation by ammonium sulfate, DEAE ion exchange and immunoadsorption chromatography to provide a purified small cell lung cancer associated antigen, which is then immunized to Balb/c mouse and hybridoma is prepared according to a standard method. Then screening is carried out by dot blot using the purified antigen as a target to afford monoclonal antibodies (TFS-5 and TFS-6). TFS-5 and TFS-6 are useful also in study, diagnosis and remedy of small cell lung cancer.
