PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of a porous sheet excellent in appearance, feeling, strength, moisture permeability, flexibility, etc. and suitable for clothing, etc., by mixing a polyolefin resin with a filler and a specified plasticizer, melt- molding the mixture into a sheet and stretching this sheet. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin (A) (e.g., polyethylene) is mixed with a filler (B) (e.g., calcium carbonate or silica) and a plasticizer (C) comprising an alpha-olefin/dialkyl alpha,beta-unsaturated dicarboxylate copolymer. The mixture is melt-molded, and the obtained sheet is stretched to produce a porous sheet. In this way, the formation of a porous sheet can be accomplished at a low stretch ratio, the stretch stress is low, low-temperature stretching is possible, and uniform stretching at a low stretch ratio is possible. Examples of component C include 10-12C alpha-olefin-dimethyl maleate copolymer. |
