PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for oral cavity free from a feeling of physical disorder, capable of making users recognize proper use time, containing particles comprising magnesium aluminate metasilicate and a dyestuff as essential components. CONSTITUTION:A dyestuff (preferably water-insoluble dyestuff) is optionally blended with water-insoluble inorganic powder, a water-soluble high polymer and a hygiene promoter for oral cavity is blended with a solution of magnesium aluminate metasilicate, treated by an emulsifier and dried by a conventional procedure to give a composition for oral cavity having such a strength as not to be collapsed by stirring shear during production of the composition for oral cavity and to be collapsed into fine particles having about several mum size during brushing by the use of the composition in a fixed time. The particles are added to a composition for oral cavity. The particles have 0.1-2mm average particle diameter, especially 0.15-0.8mm and strength of the particles can be freely adjusted by using water-insoluble inorganic powder additionally. |
