PURPOSE:To simplify operator's labor and to attain rapid work by providing the titled device with an area instructing processing means, an element sorting processing means, an intersecting point processing means, and an unnecessary element deleting processing means. CONSTITUTION:The area instructing processing means 81 instructs the same working angle or the same working direction as one area, the element sorting processing means 82 sorts elements in an area into double end point elements, single end point elements and no-end point elements, the intersecting point operation processing means 83 finds out the coordinate value of an intersecting point in accordance with the combination of respective elements and the unnecessary element deleting processing means 84 deletes an unnecessary line to form a working shape graphic. In the case of screw cutting work in a graphic (a) composing a chamfering part 91a, a tap part 91b, a drill part 91c, etc., a range is restricted by picking up the coordinate points POS1, POS2, so that elements other than the range are removed as shown in Fig.(b) and elements 4, 5, 8, 9 among the elements in the range are deleted as shown in Fig.(c) to obtain a shape data expressed by a solid line.
