<p>PURPOSE:To prevent first out of paper due to transfer interruption of data, by a method wherein the number of pages to be printed is supervised by using a counter means capable of controlling from a data analysis processing part and an imaging sequence processing part, and first out control of paper feed is carried out. CONSTITUTION:Data from a data processor interface 308 are analytically processed with a first information processing part 320, and intermediate codes are memorized in RAM 305 of FIFO. They are successively read out by first-in first-out system with a second information processing part 330 where an imaging sequence process to an engine is carried out. This write/read is counted with JOB counter 310 taking an imaging operation of one page content as unit JOB, and the number of pages to be printed is supervised with the second information processing part 330. Paper is fed by judging continuity of JOB, and first-out of paper feed to a print engine is controlled. Thus, even though data transfer from a host is interrupted, paper is never left to be first fed as it is under a print preparation state. Besides, throughput is increased in continuous printing operation.</p> |
