PURPOSE:To make it possible to change the version of a slave station side only by a command from a master station side by executing the serial multiplex transmission of control information from the master station to plural slave stations and transmitting/receiving a transmission control program based on command-added data. CONSTITUTION:The control information of a machine tool is serially and multiplexedly transmitted from the master station to plural slave stations 3 to manage the transmission control of the slave sides. Each slave station 3 is provided with a transmission control CPU 31 for processing serial multiplex transmission, a RAM 32 for storing the transmission control program and a sub-CPU 34 for controlling the transmission of command-added data to be used for the management of the slave station side. The transmission control program is transmitted/received by the command-added data. At the time of generating an alarm state on the slave station side, counterplane information is transmitted by using the command-added data. Consequently, the version of the slave station side can be changed only by a command outputted from the master station side.
