PURPOSE:To wrap-in a skin layer of a molded item, by setting successively a skin material sheet, an intermediate cushion sheet and a thermosetting base resin and carrying out heat press molding of them. CONSTITUTION:A material sheet 3a as a skin layer material is set on a bottom force 10 in such a way that the outer face is in contact with the molding surface of the bottom force 10. As an intermediate cushion layer material e.g., a urethane foaming resin liquid 2a is poured and adhered on the effective molding surface area of the free face side of the sheet 3a. Then, a mat material as a base layer material 1a is cut roughly in an outer circumferential shape corresponding to the circumferential shape of the base layer of the aimed molded item and set on the foaming resin layer 2a. Heat press molds 10 and 20 faced each other are clamped and press molding is carried out. When the molded item is taken out of the mold, the outer circumferential shapes of the base layer 1 and the intermediate cushion material layer 2 of the obtained molded item are just the aimed shape having a good edge finishing. |
