PURPOSE:To always maintain stable and prescribed press-contacting force against a separating claw by providing a notch part being larger than the inside diameter of a shaft, on both sides of a bearing part. CONSTITUTION:A separating claw 20 has a bearing part 25 by which toner powder, etc., leaking from a cleaning device scarcely go into the inside diameter of a bearing fitted to a supporting shaft 11, by which a stable rotational motion can be executed against the supporting shaft 11 by small frictional resistance. That is, the bearing part 25 has sufficient length in the axial direction, and provided with a notch part 26 of suitable depth being a little larger than the inside diameter of a bearing fitted to the supporting shaft 11, on both side ends thereof. Accordingly, even if toner powder, etc., go into a notch part 26, the toner powder, etc., are accumulated only in its opening part and do not move to the inside diameter of the bearing, because a space made by the inner periphery of the notch part 26 and the outer periphery of the supporting shaft 11 is narrow. As a result, as for the device, the frictional resistance to the same turning is always applied to the bearing part 25, a separating action is executed exactly and a toner image on the peripheral surface of a photosensitive drum is secured, and also, the separation of a transfer materials can be executed.
