PURPOSE:To prevent displacement of a workpiece and to safely perform precise machining, by a method wherein a roller for holding to press a handle and a workpiece as it is rolled is situated to a moving body being movable along a rail, and a round saw mounted integrally with the moving body is moved. CONSTITUTION:A frame body 2 is situated on a working table 1 with a gap C therebetween, and a roller 5 for movement mounted to a first moving body 4 is engaged with a rail 3 formed in the inner side of the frame body and situated movably. In a round saw, an upper end 28 is protruded through a slit 29 from the upper surface of the working table 1, a second moving body is coupled to a first moving body 4 through a bracket 31, and is secured so that the moving bodies are integrally moved. A workpiece 11 is brought into contact with a stopper 33, a desired cutting size is measured by means of a slide gauge 34. With a handle 6 gripped, a collecting part 16 is pressed by a press part 17 to press down a roller support body 10. The handle 6 is pulled in a state the workpiece 11 is held by means of a roller 12 for holding, and with the round saw moved, the workpiece is cut.
