PURPOSE:To increase the surface luster of a punched metallic sheet having many holes as well as to remove burr formed on the peripheral edges of the holes by electrolytically treating the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A punched metallic sheet having many holes is electrolytically treated to remove burr formed on the peripheral edges of the holes during punching and to increase the surface luster of the sheet. The treated sheet is used as a filter, a flow regulating plate or the like. Even in case of holes of special shape, burr is uniformly removed.
