PURPOSE:To reduce volume resistivity of a photosensitive body and to enhance mobility of charge carriers by incorporating a transition metal chloride in the photosensitive body which executes exposure and development at the same time and forms a visible image. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body is prepared by laminating a transparent conductive material 3 on a supporting body 4, and laminating on it a photosensitive layer made of a mixture of a binder resin 2, such as polyvinyl butyral, containing the transition metal chloride, such as anhydrous ferric chloride, and a photoconductor 1, such as Cu-phthalocyanine, thus permitting charge carrier mobility to be enhanced by the presence of the transition metal chloride, and a ratio of attached toner density in the light exposed area to that in the light nonexposed area to be sufficiently magnified in forming a toner image. |
